Moving up from Juniors into Seniors and into a different class of Kart was always going to be a challenge however Alistair progressed superbly through the year taking a win and top 5 placings in the club rounds and taking a superb 13th in the 2022 Motorsport UK Senior X30 championship out of 34 starters. The last round being a double header on a track he had not raced the X30 before and showing great pace Alistair qualified 8th and with lap times identical to the front 5 Alistair was in the mix, however a couple of on track infringements meant he was starting 18th for the final. Again, posting quick lap times Alistair moved up to 10th at the chequered flag showing he has the pace to run with the front runners.
